Lake Hāwea Tennis Courts
The Lake Hāwea tennis courts are owned by the Lake Hāwea Community Centre. The courts are therefore a Hāwea district community asset. The courts are not owned by the local Council. The court layout includes two tennis courts, a netball and basketball court. The netball court is used for Futsal with goals at either end of the court. The courts have lighting installed so night games can be played.

Community Agenda
The Hāwea tennis court's management company is mandated to invest a percentage of the court revenue it collects in amateur sports promotion for the Hāwea district. This will include coaching and training clinics for all ages as well as financial support for individual local youth.
Social Sports Events
The current Hāwea social sports events organised by the Lake Hāwea Community Centre can be viewed here. If you wish to be involved in any of the activities listed, please contact us on tennis@lhtc.co.nz.
Concession Tennis Rates
Concession rates are available. If you wish to be a regular tennis player, we recommend you join the local Hāwea Tennis Club. This will provide you with a number of benefits. This will include cheaper rates for playing and social events held by the Tennis Club. Local Junior players can register below.
Coaching
A local tennis coach, John Rogers is available for coaching services. If you have interest to arrange coaching for any age or level, please contact John via email jrr.tennis@gmail.com or call/text 021 295 1822.
